In Kindergarten our focus is on the spiritual, academic, social, physical, and emotional development of each child. We believe each child is a gift from God with many special qualities and talents. Our classroom will be a warm and encouraging enviornment. This year we will provide the children with "hands-on" experiences to develop their potential in all areas. Our academic curriculum includes Religion, Integrated Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science. Pre-reading and reading skills are particularly emphasized in Integrated Language Arts. The children will also be participating in classroom art activities, circle time, and activities to further develop their social and physical skills. Activities are designed to encourage and challenge each student.
